Banana Bread (Grain-free & Vegan) | COOKING WITH BABY J


Guys, it’s become more and more difficult that i can film videos in your own home during Covid. So, with this video I made the decision to lean into as being a working mother, and also have Baby J join me! We like cooking together, and filming it was A Lot FUN!

To respect her privacy I have place a little blur on her behalf face. Hopefully it does not take from the charm of cooking with Baby. Enjoy!


2 cups almond flour

1/4 cup arrowroot flour

1/4 cup coconut flour

1/4 cup ground flaxseed

3-4 tablespoons of coconut sugar

1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 ripe bananas + more for topping

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

1/2 cup walnuts or pecans

1/2 cup vegan choc chips

Preheat oven to 350°, and grease your loaf pan, or line with parchment paper, if required.

Inside a large bowl combine the flours, flaxseed, sugar, sodium bicarbonate, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk well.

In another bowl mash the blueberry, adding the coconut oil, and vanilla flavoring. Whisk.

Pour the wet ingredients in to the dry, and stir well.

Fold within the nuts and choc chips.

Pour in to the loaf pan and spread evenly.

Bake for 40-forty-five minutes, until a toothpick arrives almost clean.

Let it awesome for around fifteen minutes (or longer) before enjoying!
