Today I am discussing Mediterranean Diet dessert recipes! These healthy and simple desserts are gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and completely aligned using the Mediterranean Diet method of eating. If you are following a Mediterranean Diet to shed weight, feel your very best, in order to prevent disease, you may still enjoy some desserts! These recipes are full of more diet but additionally satisfy that sweet tooth.

*Ocean Salt Chocolate Fig Bites*

– 8 oz figs, stemmed and chopped

– 2 tablespoons of almond butter

– 1 1/2 tablespoons of water

– 2/3 cup sugar-free chocolates chips, or baking chocolate

– 2 teaspoon coconut oil

– flaky ocean salt

Add some figs, almond butter, and water towards the bowl of the mixer and process before the figs form a ball. Meanwhile, inside a glass bowl melt the choc chips and coconut oil over lightly simmering water inside a saucepan. Put aside. Make up the fig mixture into rounded teaspoon-sized balls and dip within the melted chocolate. Transfer to some baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle each with ocean salt and hang within the refrigerator not less than half an hour to set. Enjoy!

*Orange Spice Tahini Cookies*

– 1 tablespoons of tapioca flour

– 1 tablespoons of coconut flour

– 1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate

– 1 teaspoon cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

– 1 cup tahini

– 1/2 cup walnut syrup

– egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla

– orange, zest and juice

– sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Meanwhile, add some tapioca flour, coconut flour, sodium bicarbonate, spices, and orange zest to some large mixing bowl. Whisk to mix. Add some tahini, walnut syrup, egg, vanilla, and juice from 1/2 the orange towards the dry ingredients. Whisk again to interrupt in the egg and mix all ingredients. Utilizing a tablespoon scoop or spoon, transfer the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the top of the each cookie with sesame seeds. Bake within the oven for fifteen minutes or until golden brown round the edges. Tip – the cookies will spread within the oven, ensure there’s enough space in between each one around the baking sheet.

*Fast Fruit Crisp with Balsamic Glaze*

– 1/2 cup plain goat milk yogurt

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

– 2-4 tablespoons of raw walnuts, chopped

– 1/2 apple, chopped

Heat a little skillet over medium heat. Add some walnuts and toast for around a few minutes, or until aromatic (keep close track of them so that they don’t burn). Meanwhile, in a tiny serving bowl, whisk together the yogurt and vanilla flavoring. Add some chopped apple and toasted walnuts on the top from the yogurt. Drizzle with balsamic glaze. Enjoy!
